4 people arrested after early-morning robbery at Springfield Taco Bell parking lot

SPRINGFIELD, Missouri — A robbery in a fast food parking lot in the early hours of Friday morning ended with four people in custody after Springfield police moved quickly to track down the suspects.

The incident happened around 4 a.m. at the Taco Bell located at 1348 N. Glenstone Ave. Officers responded to the scene and launched an investigation that led them just a short distance away.

Police Tracked Suspects to a Nearby Home

Within hours of the robbery, investigators zeroed in on a house at 2215 N. Link, near the intersection of High Street.

Officers arrived at the residence around 6 a.m. and remained on scene for approximately two hours.

By the time they left, four suspects were in custody.

Victim Treated for Minor Injuries

The victim in the robbery was taken for medical attention but sustained only minor injuries.

No one else was reported hurt during the incident or during the arrest at the North Link address.

Case Being Investigated as First-Degree Robbery

Springfield police are handling the case as first-degree robbery — the most serious robbery classification under Missouri law.

Authorities have not yet confirmed whether weapons were involved or whether the victim and suspects knew each other prior to the incident.

The investigation remains ongoing.
