Spokane Valley Drug Bust: 1 Kilo Fentanyl, 3,100 Pills Seized, Suspect Arrested

Spokane Valley, Washington — A large-scale drug investigation in Spokane Valley has led to the seizure of significant quantities of fentanyl and other narcotics, raising fresh concerns about the spread of dangerous substances across eastern Washington communities.

According to the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office, detectives from the Spokane Valley Investigative Unit carried out multiple search warrants connected to suspected drug distribution activities. The operation targeted a motel on West Sunset Boulevard and nearby storage units along Sunset Highway.

During the searches, investigators recovered approximately one kilogram of suspected fentanyl powder and more than 3,100 fentanyl pills. Authorities also seized methamphetamine, over $46,800 in cash, and scales believed to be used for drug distribution. Additional items, including a Jeep Wrangler and precious metals, were taken as part of the case.

A 45-year-old woman was arrested and booked into the Spokane County Jail on charges related to possession of controlled substances with intent to distribute. Officials confirmed she later posted bond following a court appearance.

Law enforcement officials emphasized the seriousness of the seizure, noting that even small amounts of fentanyl can be lethal. The volume recovered in this case represents a potentially dangerous supply that could have impacted many lives.

The investigation remains ongoing, and authorities say more arrests and charges may follow as detectives continue to examine evidence linked to regional drug trafficking networks.
