A dangerous motorcycle rider is finally off the streets — and it took three different police departments working together to make it happen.
On Tuesday morning, law enforcement officers served a search warrant in the Trailside neighborhood near Highland Drive in Summit County, Utah. The suspect inside cooperated with investigators and was taken into custody without incident.
But what led them there is the real story.
The man at the center of this investigation is accused of two separate incidents that had police across the Salt Lake area on high alert.
First, a hit-and-run with a road rage twist in South Salt Lake — the kind of incident that leaves witnesses shaken and victims without answers. Then, a separate fleeing incident in Murray where the same rider allegedly sped away from officers.

South Salt Lake Police, Murray Police, and the Summit County Sheriff’s Office all joined forces to track him down — a rare three-agency collaboration that shows just how seriously law enforcement took this case.
The suspect now faces charges including hit-and-run with a road rage enhancement and reckless driving. More charges from Murray are still pending.

Police say the public is no longer at risk. The investigation remains active, but the man they believe was behind the wheel is now behind bars.
