MILFORD — A 43-year-old Milford man is facing drug trafficking charges after authorities reportedly discovered methamphetamine during a probation-related search at his residence earlier this week.
Law enforcement officials said deputies, working alongside state probation officers, carried out a search at a home located on French Settlement Road in Milford on Tuesday. The operation was part of an ongoing supervision effort.
During the search, officers identified and seized two backpacks that were considered suspicious. After securing a search warrant to further examine the contents, investigators reported finding approximately 23.5 gross grams of methamphetamine inside one of the bags.
Following the discovery, Anthony St. Louis, 43, was arrested the next day. He was transported to the Penobscot County Jail, where he is being held in connection with the alleged drug trafficking offense.
The investigation remains ongoing.
