A 16-year-old boy was injured in a shooting Sunday afternoon in the West Oak Lane area of Philadelphia, authorities confirmed.
The incident occurred at approximately 3 p.m. on the 7100 block of Rodney Street in West Oak Lane. According to police, the teenager sustained a gunshot wound during the incident. He was transported to a nearby hospital in a private vehicle rather than by ambulance.
