A quiet Colorado community is grappling with shock and grief after a devastating incident that left three members of the same family dead, including a 19-year-old believed to be responsible.
According to the Pueblo Police Department, officers responded early Friday morning to a disturbing scene where two individuals were found dead—one lying in the road and another inside a vehicle. The victims were later identified as 40-year-old Glenn Allen Beeman Jr. and 41-year-old Amanda Leigh Manion.
While authorities were still processing the scene, they received reports of another death in nearby Pueblo West. Investigators say the third individual, identified as 19-year-old Glenn Allen Beeman III, died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound and is suspected to be connected to the earlier killings.
Police have described the case as a suspected double murder-suicide, though officials emphasize that the investigation remains ongoing and details are still being confirmed.
Family members are now left mourning an unimaginable loss. Amanda’s brother shared the news publicly, describing the situation as a “horrific tragedy” and asking for privacy as the family processes the events. He also noted that the parents were estranged.
Adding to the heartbreak, Amanda had recently celebrated her son’s 19th birthday with a heartfelt message expressing love and hope for his future.
As authorities continue to piece together what led to this tragedy, the community is left searching for answers—and grieving a loss that has deeply shaken those who knew the family.
