Four 17-year-old boys in Texas are facing serious charges after authorities say they kidnapped and violently assaulted a former classmate in a disturbing off-campus incident.
According to affidavits from the Travis County Sheriff’s Office, the alleged attack began on February 19, when the victim left Del Valle High School with three of the suspects. Investigators say he was taken to a nearby home, where a fourth teen was waiting.
The situation quickly escalated. The victim told police he was forced into a detached garage, where one suspect allegedly pointed a gun at his head while the others restrained him with duct tape. Over several hours, he was reportedly beaten with aluminum bats, a belt, and a walking cane. He also claimed he was burned and forced to drink alcohol against his will.
Authorities say the suspects repeatedly threatened to kill him and warned they would harm his family if he reported the incident. The motive, according to investigators, may have been linked to the victim speaking with one suspect’s girlfriend.
Despite the threats, the victim was eventually released and contacted police. Officers later documented extensive injuries consistent with his account.
Investigators say some of the teens admitted involvement and revealed the attack had been planned for about a week. If convicted, they could face significant prison sentences.
School officials confirmed the suspects are no longer students and said the incident remains under active investigation.
