MIDLAND, TEXAS — Authorities have arrested a man in connection with an armed robbery reported earlier this month in Midland County. The incident, which occurred on Jan. 13, prompted an investigation by local law enforcement that led to the suspect being taken into custody over the weekend.

The Midland County Sheriff’s Office reported that the Permian Basin TAG Unit conducted an investigation into the armed robbery that took place in the 5200 block of South Highway 349. Through their efforts, investigators identified Daniel Jimham Ahn, 47, as the suspect in the case.
Following the identification, authorities obtained a warrant charging Ahn with aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon. Ahn was taken into custody on Saturday and booked into the Midland County Detention Center. He is currently being held on a $150,000 bond.
