A man was taken to the hospital Monday night after being shot in West Philadelphia, according to police.
The shooting happened at around 7:15 p.m. in the 500 block of North 63rd Street, authorities said. Officers responded to reports of gunfire and located an adult male suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
Police said the victim was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. His identity has not been released, and his condition was not immediately known as of Tuesday.
