Early Sunday morning, a quiet neighborhood in San Francisco was briefly disrupted after reports of gunfire in the upscale Russian Hill area.
According to police, officers responded shortly before 3 a.m. after receiving calls about possible shots fired. When investigators arrived, they determined that a vehicle carrying two individuals had driven past a home in the neighborhood around the time of the incident.
Authorities later identified the vehicle as belonging to 25-year-old Amanda Tom, a resident of San Francisco. She, along with 23-year-old Muhamad Tarik Hussein, was located and detained near Taylor Street not long after the reported gunfire.

Despite the alarming nature of the incident, officials confirmed that no injuries were reported. Residents in the area, known for its steep streets and scenic views, were left shaken but unharmed.
The case remains under active investigation as authorities continue to gather details about what led to the gunfire. Police have not yet released further information regarding possible motives or whether additional charges may be filed.
