PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. — A coordinated law enforcement operation in Port Charlotte led to the arrest of five individuals after authorities executed a search warrant at a residence on Lee Terrace.
The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office deployed its narcotics division along with SWAT, aviation support, and K-9 units to the property on Thursday. Officials reported discovering multiple firearms with ammunition, along with methamphetamine, fentanyl, and various items commonly associated with drug distribution.
The strong police presence quickly drew attention from nearby residents. Several neighbors described seeing patrol vehicles blocking off surrounding streets while a helicopter hovered overhead during the operation.
“It was clear something serious was happening,” one neighbor said, recalling the heavy law enforcement activity outside the home.
Following the search, deputies took five people into custody. Those arrested were identified as Brian Hartmanstorfer, Shyanne Lynch, William Stone, Travis Walters, and Ashley Moree. Authorities confirmed the arrests were directly related to the search warrant and evidence recovered at the scene.
The investigation remains ongoing as officials continue reviewing the seized materials and potential charges.
