Tonight won’t feel like a typical spring night — temperatures will stay well above average, dipping only to around 60°F by morning. Skies will clear out this evening before some clouds drift in overnight.
But the real story starts Tuesday.
Expect a summer preview with highs soaring into the mid-80s across most neighborhoods. Sunshine and high cirrus clouds will dominate the sky. The only exception: Jersey Shore residents will feel a sea breeze that keeps temps cooler, topping out in the upper 60s.
Rain is coming — and it’s much needed
A cold front moves in Wednesday, bringing periods of rain throughout the day. Highs will cool significantly to the low 70s.
Thursday keeps the clouds around, with lingering rain focused south and east of Philadelphia — particularly in South Jersey and Delaware. Temperatures will hover in the upper 50s to low 60s.
The weekend outlook
Friday bounces back nicely — partly cloudy and mid-60s, a fine end to the work week.
Saturday carries some risk of rain from a passing low-pressure system. But conditions clear up just in time for Mother’s Day Sunday.
