Fresno County, California – Authorities have identified the man killed in a wrong-way crash on Highway 99 Sunday afternoon that left two other drivers injured and shut down multiple lanes of traffic.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the victim was Paul Nichelmann, a 58-year-old man, who died after his pickup truck collided with two other vehicles while traveling the wrong direction on the highway.

Investigators said CHP dispatchers began receiving multiple calls at approximately 2 p.m. Sunday reporting a wrong-way driver heading northbound in the southbound lanes of Highway 99 near Olive Avenue.
