38-Year-Old Man Identified in Deadly Tucson Morning Shooting; Two Others Recovering

The Tucson Police Department has identified the man killed in a Wednesday morning shooting as Emanuel James Harrison, 38.

Officers responded around 7 a.m. on March 18 to reports of gunfire in the 3600 block of East 33rd Street, near South Dodge Boulevard in Tucson, after receiving multiple emergency calls.

When police arrived, they located a man and a woman suffering from gunshot wounds. Harrison was discovered in a nearby yard and was pronounced dead at the scene.

First responders provided immediate medical assistance to the surviving victims before transporting them to a local hospital. Authorities said both individuals initially sustained life-threatening injuries but are now listed in stable condition.

Investigators believe the residence where the shooting occurred is known as a regular gathering location for several individuals. Detectives are working to identify and interview additional witnesses who may have been present before the incident.

Despite an extensive search of the surrounding neighborhood, no suspect has been identified. The investigation remains active.
