Three Arrested After Multi-Location Narcotics Operation in Bakersfield

Bakersfield police arrested three individuals this week following a coordinated narcotics investigation that targeted multiple locations across the city.

According to authorities, Ashley Garcia, 19; Jose Jacobo, 28; and Chandler Landreth, 21 were taken into custody during a joint enforcement effort conducted over two days. The operation involved the Bakersfield Police Department working alongside federal and state law enforcement partners.

Investigators reported seizing a significant quantity of suspected illegal substances and related items from three separate properties. The confiscated materials included more than 35 pounds of marijuana intended for processing, 159 units of THC wax, 198 marijuana vape pens, 290 packages of THC-infused edible products, 25 psilocybin-infused edible items, and $1,167 in cash.

The search warrants were executed at locations on Niles Street, Golden State Avenue, and East California Avenue.

Authorities stated that the arrests stem from suspicions of narcotics possession for the purpose of sales. The investigation remains ongoing.
