A coordinated law enforcement operation in Summers County on Monday resulted in the arrest of two individuals and the seizure of narcotics and multiple firearms, officials confirmed.
According to the Summers County Sheriff’s Department, deputies executed a search warrant on March 16, 2026, at a residence located on Big Creek Road. The warrant was part of an ongoing investigation into suspected illegal activity at the property.
During the search, authorities reported discovering several types of controlled substances along with multiple firearms inside the home. Investigators have not yet disclosed the quantities of drugs recovered.
As a result of the operation, Teresa Diane Holland and Thomas Clayton Holland were taken into custody.
Teresa Diane Holland is facing multiple felony charges, including:
- Two counts of Delivery of Methamphetamine
- Delivery of Fentanyl
- Possession with Intent to Deliver Fentanyl
- Possession with Intent to Deliver Hydrocodone
- Possession with Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine
- Neglect of an Incapacitated Adult
Thomas Clayton Holland has been charged with:
- Neglect of an Incapacitated Adult
- Prohibited Person in Possession of a Firearm
Authorities have not released further information regarding the circumstances related to the neglect allegation or additional details about the firearms recovered.
Deputy L.A. Harvey is leading the ongoing investigation. Both individuals remain in custody as the case proceeds through the legal system.
Law enforcement officials emphasized that all individuals are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law. The investigation remains active.
