Pennsylvania Infant Seriously Injured After Domestic Dispute Turns Violent, Police Say

A disturbing case from Pennsylvania has left a 3-month-old baby fighting for recovery after a domestic argument escalated into violence inside a home in Lancaster.

According to police, the incident happened in the early hours of February 15, when officers responded to a call about a domestic disturbance involving a child. When they arrived, they found that an infant had suffered severe head injuries during an altercation between adults in the home.

The child was first taken to a nearby hospital before being transferred to a specialized medical center due to the seriousness of her condition. Doctors confirmed that the baby suffered a skull fracture along with internal bleeding in the brain.

Authorities say the argument reportedly began over a cellphone and quickly became physical. During questioning, the accused man claimed he was struck multiple times and reacted by swinging his arm, which he says unintentionally hit the infant. However, investigators believe the child may have been injured more than once during the incident.

Police also allege that the child’s mother played a role in the violence, including actions that may have further endangered the infant. Another child was reportedly present in the home at the time, raising additional concerns about safety.

Both adults have been charged with serious offenses related to assault and child endangerment. They were later released on bail and are expected to appear in court later this month.

The case has sparked concern in the community, highlighting how quickly domestic disputes can turn dangerous—especially when children are involved.
