Dangerous Winds on American Falls Reservoir
A Lake Wind Advisory continues until 9 PM Thursday for the Lower Snake River Plain — including Pocatello, Blackfoot, Shelley, and Fort Hall.
North winds of 10–15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph are creating rough, hazardous conditions for small boats. Isolated thunderstorms could bring even stronger gusts. Officials are urging boaters to stay off the water tonight.
