Oneonta’s favorite breakfast spot is back — and it’s better than ever.
Denny’s on Route 23, located on the Southside of Oneonta, held its grand reopening celebration recently after closing for five days to undergo a complete interior refresh.
What’s New Inside?
The restaurant got a full makeover. New floors, new ceilings, fresh paint on the walls, and updated artwork have completely transformed the look. The exterior of the building was also updated.
Grand Reopening Highlights
Customers who came out for the celebration enjoyed free giveaways, a prize wheel, and special one-day-only discounts on popular menu items.
A Hometown Feel
General Manager Michael Hall says this Denny’s is more than just a chain restaurant.
“It’s more of a family atmosphere. You can come with anyone — young kids, adults. It’s just the atmosphere that we enjoy here,” Hall said.
Hours and What’s Popular
Hall says all-day breakfast is the top seller at this location. Current hours are:
- Monday – Friday: 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.
- Saturday – Sunday: 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Possibly Going 24 Hours?
Because Oneonta is a college town, Hall says the restaurant is considering switching to 24-hour service — if the right staff can be found.
