FBI Offers $5,000 Reward in Search for West Milwaukee Bank Robbery Suspect

Residents in West Milwaukee are being urged to stay alert as authorities continue searching for a man involved in a recent bank robbery, with the Federal Bureau of Investigation now offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to his arrest.

According to officials, the robbery took place on January 12 at a U.S. Bank branch located at 4140 W. Greenfield Avenue in West Milwaukee. Investigators say the suspect approached a teller, implied that he was armed with a gun, and demanded money. He then fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported during the incident, but authorities emphasize that the situation could have been far more dangerous.

Witnesses reported that the suspect was last seen heading north under the S. 35th Street Viaduct shortly after the robbery. Law enforcement has warned that he should be considered armed and dangerous.

Police describe the suspect as a man between 20 and 29 years old, standing approximately 5 feet 9 inches to 5 feet 11 inches tall, and weighing around 160 to 170 pounds. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a black mask, a black hoodie with the word “SAVAGE” printed in white, dark pants, and dark shoes.

Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward. Even the smallest detail could help investigators move closer to an arrest and ensure community safety.
