A routine traffic stop in the early morning hours turned into a major drug seizure on Interstate 35 in Waco.

According to authorities, a Texas Department of Public Safety trooper pulled over a vehicle around 2:30 a.m. after observing multiple traffic violations. What initially appeared to be a standard stop quickly escalated when a DPS K-9 unit was brought in to assist.
