Hancock County, Ohio — A series of coordinated drug enforcement operations in Hancock County has led to multiple arrests and the seizure of significant amounts of illegal substances, according to local authorities.
Officials say the actions were carried out by the Hancock County METRICH Drug Task Force with support from the Findlay Police Department and the Hancock County Special Mobile Enforcement Team. The operations targeted suspected drug activity across the area and resulted in several individuals being taken into custody.
During the operations, investigators recovered approximately 66.8 grams of cocaine, 28 grams of methamphetamine, and 2.5 grams of fentanyl. Authorities also reported the seizure of around 30 Schedule I prescription pills and $3,146 in cash. One vehicle believed to be connected to the activity was also confiscated.
Several people were arrested and booked into the Hancock County Justice Center. Among them:
- Marian Kouza, 42, of Findlay — charged with drug possession
- Tare Lake Jr., 27, of Toledo — charged with drug possession and trafficking
- Yazzmen Roundtree, 25, of Toledo — charged with drug trafficking and possession
- Chermuel Perez, 19, of Findlay — charged with drug possession
Authorities emphasized that the investigation is still ongoing, and additional charges — including further trafficking and possession counts — are expected as the case develops.
Law enforcement officials say operations like these are part of continued efforts to reduce the presence of dangerous drugs in the community, particularly substances like fentanyl, which has been linked to a rising number of overdose cases nationwide.
Officials have not released further details about the investigation but confirmed that more updates may follow as additional evidence is processed and reviewed.
