Woman Screams for Help as Man Allegedly Tries to Drag Her Into Car in Ontario — Suspect Arrested

A terrifying late-night encounter in Ontario has led to the arrest of a 29-year-old man accused of attempting to kidnap a woman as she walked home alone.

Police say the incident unfolded around 10:20 p.m. Saturday in the 2700 block of East Inland Empire Boulevard. Officers were dispatched after receiving reports of a disturbance in the roadway — but what they uncovered was far more alarming.

What Happened?

According to investigators, a witness saw a vehicle pull up next to a woman who was walking alone. Moments later, the witness heard her screaming for help.

The suspect allegedly exited his vehicle and tried to drag the woman inside. The situation escalated quickly, but when the witness approached the scene, the man reportedly released her and sped away.

The victim later told officers she had noticed the same vehicle following her as she walked home. Police identified the suspect as 29-year-old Israel Alejandro Carrizalez of Rancho Cucamonga. Authorities say he pulled alongside her, got out of the car, grabbed her, and attempted to force her into the vehicle.

Victim Injured During Struggle

The woman suffered minor scratches and torn clothing during the frightening struggle, but thankfully was able to escape before the suspect fled.

High-Tech Tracking Leads to Arrest

Using witness statements and vehicle information, officers turned to the department’s Real Time Information Center. Intersection cameras helped authorities identify and track the suspect’s vehicle as it left the area.

Carrizalez was later located at a residence in the 8700 block of Arrow Route in Rancho Cucamonga. He was taken into custody without incident.

He has since been booked at the West Valley Detention Center on felony charges including kidnapping and false imprisonment. His bail has been set at $500,000.

Police Fear There May Be More Victims

Due to the seriousness of the case, detectives believe there could be additional victims. Authorities have released a photo of the suspect and the vehicle involved, urging anyone with information to come forward.
