INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana — A night meant for celebration turned deadly after a shooting broke out at a post-prom party in Indianapolis early Sunday morning.

Police were called to a short-term rental home on the city’s north side at around 3:30 a.m. after reports of gunfire.

Officers arrived to find one woman critically wounded. She was rushed to the hospital, where she later died.

Two more victims walked into a nearby hospital on their own seeking treatment. A fourth victim was also identified.

All four are believed to have been shot at the same property.

Investigators say a dispute broke out among party attendees before the shooting began.

No motive has been released. No arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing.
