A 91-year-old Tyrone Township man has died after his vehicle left the road and struck a transmission tower in Kent County on Sunday afternoon.
What Happened
The crash occurred around 12:40 p.m. at the intersection of Tyrone Avenue Northwest and 18 Mile Road Northwest in Tyrone Township.
According to the Kent County Sheriff’s Office, the man was traveling northbound when his vehicle veered off the road and collided with the tower. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
