EDMOND, Oklahoma — At least 10 people were injured Sunday night in a shooting near Lake Arcadia, according to the Edmond Police Department.
Officers responded to reports of gunfire and found multiple victims with gunshot wounds, some inside a vehicle near East 15th Street and Timberlake Avenue.
Police said the shooting broke out at a large gathering of young people near the lake. Victims were rushed to nearby hospitals — some by ambulance, others in private vehicles — meaning the total number of injured could still rise.
As of early Monday morning, authorities had not confirmed any fatalities. No arrests have been made.
State highway patrol, city police, and other agencies are all working the scene. Officials say there is currently no threat to the public.
