She Went Out for a Ride — Now She's Fighting for Her Life in a Pittsburgh Hospital

A quiet Saturday evening in Washington County turned tragic when a 44-year-old woman was seriously injured in a UTV crash — and now police are desperately searching for anyone who may have seen what happened.

According to Pennsylvania State Police, troopers were called to the scene at Kings Creek off Clydes Road in Hanover Township around 8:30 p.m. What should have been just another weekend evening ended with emergency crews rushing to the area and a woman being airlifted for urgent care.

The injured woman was first rushed to Weirton Hospital in West Virginia — the closest trauma facility available. But her condition was serious enough that doctors made the call to transfer her to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh, one of the region’s top medical centers, for more advanced treatment. As of the latest update, she remains in critical condition.

What makes this case even more haunting is this — investigators believe people were nearby when it happened. Witnesses may have seen exactly how this crash unfolded, but so far, no one has come forward.

If you were anywhere near the 100 block of Clydes Road in Hanover Township on Saturday evening, Pennsylvania State Police need to hear from you. Your information — no matter how small it seems — could be the key to understanding what truly happened that night.

Anyone with information is urged to contact PSP Pittsburgh at 412-299-1607.

This woman’s family is waiting for answers. A simple phone call could make all the difference.

An investigation remains active and ongoing.
