She Texted Her Husband a Photo of Their Bleeding Child — Then Killed Both Kids and Herself in Arizona

A night that started with gunshots at a bar ended with two innocent children dead inside their own home.

Glendale, Arizona police say Andrea Davis, 38, first opened fire on her husband late Sunday night while he sat in his car outside Tailgaters Bar on West Bell Road. He survived. But what happened next was far worse.

While officers were still on scene with the husband, his phone started buzzing.

It was his wife.

She was sending him text messages — telling him she was going to hurt their children. Then came a photo. It showed one of the children inside the home bleeding from the head.

Officers raced to the home. They were too late.

Inside, they found Davis dead — along with the couple’s two young children, Andolan and Austin. One was just 18 months old. The other was 10 years old.

“This was really just a horrific situation,” Glendale Police spokesperson Jose Santiago said at a press conference.

Friends who knew Davis say the marriage had been falling apart for nearly a year after her husband allegedly became involved with a co-worker.

“This relationship has completely made her lose her mind,” longtime friend Amy Bowers said. “She was not feeling good. And she’s been asking for help from everybody.”

Bowers added that Davis had been overwhelmed and scared about the future.

“She was like, ‘What am I supposed to do with the kids?'” Bowers recalled. “I just feel really bad for the babies. They were really great kids.”

Police confirmed there were no prior domestic violence reports involving the family — a detail that left investigators and the community shaken.

“A lot of times these incidents happen and there’s not a lot of information that gets reported to us,” Phoenix Police Sgt. Lorraine Fernandez said. “Please — if you see something, say something.”

She added words that say everything about this tragedy.

“Children are the most innocent. They’re what we show up to work to protect every day.”

Two children went to sleep Sunday night and never woke up. A family is gone. And a community is left asking how this was allowed to happen.
