Dense Fog Advisory — Chester, Berks, Lehigh, Northampton, Lancaster, Upper Bucks and Upper Montgomery counties until 8 a.m. Tuesday.
If your Tuesday morning commute feels a little murky, you’re not imagining it. Patchy fog has settled across the Philadelphia region overnight, with the thickest conditions found northwest of the city — just in time for rush hour.
Drivers in the affected counties should allow extra travel time and reduce speeds. Visibility in some spots may be significantly reduced before conditions improve by mid-morning.
The good news? Once the fog lifts, Tuesday shapes up nicely. Temperatures will climb into the low 80s with generally dry conditions — a welcome change after a soggy Memorial Day weekend kept many people indoors.
The rest of the week stays pleasant. Highs hover near 80°F through Friday, with a small chance of showers on Wednesday being the only notable interruption. After that, a mild and dry stretch carries the region all the way into the weekend — and straight into June.
