Ontario, Oregon – Police are searching for a tall male suspect accused of tying up a female employee during a robbery early Thursday morning at a local gaming business. Authorities say the woman was restrained inside an office area but was able to call for help after the suspect fled.

The Ontario City Police Department confirmed officers responded to a reported robbery around 12:18 a.m. at Winner’s Horseshoe. By the time officers arrived at the scene, the suspect had already left the area.

Incident Overview

According to investigators, the suspect entered the business near closing time while a woman was working inside. Police say the individual was holding an unidentified object and demanded money from the employee. Fearing for her safety, the woman complied with the demand.

After obtaining cash, the suspect allegedly forced the employee into an office space and restrained her to a chair using bindings. Authorities have not disclosed what type of restraints were used but confirmed that the woman was left tied up before the suspect fled.

Suspect Description

Police describe the suspect as a man approximately 6 feet 3 inches tall. He was reportedly wearing dark clothing and had his face covered at the time of the robbery, making identification more difficult.

The suspect’s direction of travel remains unknown, and authorities have not yet released surveillance images or additional identifying features. The amount of money taken has also not been disclosed.

Ongoing Investigation

Detectives are continuing to review evidence and are urging members of the public to come forward with any information that could assist in the investigation. Officers are particularly interested in hearing from anyone who may have been in the area around the time of the robbery or who may have seen suspicious activity near the business.
