A months-long narcotics investigation in Calloway County led to the arrest of a 51-year-old man following a traffic stop Thursday afternoon.
Detectives with the Calloway County Narcotics Division stopped Michael Foster at approximately 1 p.m. on March 13 as part of an ongoing drug probe. Authorities said the investigation had been underway since October 2025 and continued through March 2026.
Law enforcement officials believe Foster was a primary source of cocaine distribution within the county. During the course of the investigation, detectives seized approximately 12.95 gross grams of suspected cocaine.
Following the traffic stop, Foster was taken into custody and charged with First-Degree Trafficking in a Controlled Substance (Cocaine), second or greater offense, involving four grams or more, a Class B felony under Kentucky law.
He was transported to the Calloway County Detention Center, where he remains in custody pending further legal proceedings.
Officials noted that the investigation remains active, and additional details may be released as the case progresses.
