According to the Cobb County Fire and Emergency Services, crews were called to the scene shortly after 1 p.m. at an apartment complex on Woodsong Way. What began as a fire on the second floor quickly intensified, spreading upward to the third floor and into the roof, making the situation more difficult to control.
