Multi-Agency Raid in Salem Leads to Arrests, Drug and Weapon Seizures

SALEM, Ore. – A coordinated enforcement effort in Salem resulted in multiple arrests and the seizure of illegal drugs and firearms following the execution of a search warrant on Thursday.

Local police partnered with the U.S. Marshals Service to carry out the operation at a residence on Front Street Northeast. The effort was aimed at locating individuals wanted on outstanding warrants and addressing potential public safety concerns.

Authorities were specifically seeking Christopher Fought and Ila Huff, both of whom were wanted on parole violation warrants issued in Deschutes County. During the search of the property, officers discovered firearms, suspected methamphetamine, fentanyl, drug-related paraphernalia, and body armor. Detectives were called in to assist as evidence of additional criminal activity was uncovered.

In total, five individuals were taken into custody. Along with Fought and Huff, officers arrested Christopher Snyder, who was wanted in Douglas County on a parole violation warrant. Victoria Hernandez was apprehended on a warrant from Linn County related to a felon in possession of a firearm charge. Kayla Rose was also arrested for failing to appear in court on a fourth-degree assault charge in Benton County.

Investigators indicated that further charges may be filed as the case remains under review.
