A quiet evening in Napa County turned alarming after a vehicle struck three juveniles Tuesday evening, prompting a major emergency response and air ambulance evacuations.
The incident occurred around 6:10 p.m. in the 400 block of Newton Way in Angwin, according to officials from Cal Fire LNU.
Two Juveniles Airlifted to Sacramento
Emergency crews responded swiftly to the scene. One juvenile was airlifted directly from the crash site to UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento by an air ambulance.
A second juvenile was transported by ground ambulance to Angwin Airport, where another air ambulance was waiting to transfer them to UC Davis in Sacramento for urgent medical care.
The third juvenile was taken by ground ambulance to a nearby hospital. Officials have not released further details regarding their condition at this time.

Authorities from the California Highway Patrol are investigating the circumstances that led up to the crash. It remains unclear how the collision occurred or whether any additional factors were involved.
