Nashville Drug House Shut Down — Three Arrested After Police Seize Cocaine, Mushrooms, and More

A Nashville neighborhood is safer this week after police arrested three people and permanently boarded up a home linked to ongoing drug activity on Brooklyn Boulevard.

The arrests began last Wednesday when officers encountered Jaiden Cox and took him into custody on charges of felony larceny and resisting a public officer. Stolen items found during the arrest were traced back to a home owned by Terrence Cooke — and quickly returned to their rightful owners.

But that was just the beginning.

Officers returned to Cooke’s Brooklyn Boulevard home on Friday after receiving repeated complaints from neighbors about suspicious drug-related activity. What they found inside shocked even seasoned investigators.

Police seized crack cocaine, mushrooms, synthetic cannabinoids, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia from the property.

Cooke and Dawood Bush now face serious charges including possession with intent to sell cocaine, maintaining a drug dwelling, conspiracy, and multiple substance violations. Both were placed in jail on a $50,000 secured bond. Cox received a separate $2,500 bond.

Authorities have since deemed the home unsafe and boarded it up — effectively shutting down what neighbors had long suspected was a drug operation.
