San Francisco’s quiet Potrero Hill neighborhood was shaken Friday morning after a shooting left one person dead and another fighting for their life, according to police officials.
What Happened?
Shortly after 10 a.m., officers responded to reports of gunfire near 25th Street and Dakota Street in Potrero Hill. When police arrived, they found two individuals suffering from gunshot wounds.
- One victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
- Another victim was transported to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Authorities later confirmed that a third victim, a juvenile, was taken to the hospital with superficial injuries. Police clarified that the juvenile had not been shot.
