QUINCY, Calif. — A series of coordinated law enforcement actions across Plumas County over the past several weeks has led to multiple arrests and the seizure of nearly 300 grams of suspected controlled substances, according to local authorities.

The enforcement activity began on February 25 in Beckwourth, where deputies conducted a traffic stop that resulted in the arrest of Wade Deberg. During the stop, authorities reported discovering methamphetamine and evidence of additional criminal activity. A subsequent search of his residence allegedly uncovered more methamphetamine and several firearms, including an AK-47-style rifle.

On March 5, deputies carried out another traffic stop in Portola that led to the arrests of Jonathon Pope and Eric Holmes. Officials reported that nearly 200 grams of methamphetamine were found in Pope’s possession during the stop.

Two days later, on March 7, three individuals from Sacramento were taken into custody near Portola. Deputies stated that approximately 43 grams of methamphetamine were seized during the arrest. Monica Baca, Benjamin Hollcroft, and Jeffery Burkhart were booked on felony drug-related charges.

The most recent arrest occurred on March 13 during a probation compliance check at a residence in Quincy. Authorities reported that Angelique DeCrona was arrested after deputies allegedly located around 15 grams of cocaine along with evidence suggesting narcotics and alcohol use.

In total, officials estimate that approximately 288 grams of suspected illegal substances were confiscated during the series of operations. All cases have been submitted to the Plumas County District Attorney’s Office for review and potential prosecution.

Law enforcement officials stated that investigations remain ongoing as part of broader efforts to address narcotics activity in the region.
