Second Victim Identified in Deadly UTV Crash in Green Lake County

Brooklyn, Wisconsin – A tragic utility terrain vehicle (UTV) crash in the Town of Brooklyn, Wisconsin, has claimed the lives of two people, with authorities now confirming the identity of the second victim days after the incident.

The crash occurred last Saturday evening on Princeton Road near Honeysuckle Lane, where emergency crews were called shortly after 5 p.m. Reports from officials indicate that a single UTV carrying four occupants lost control and crashed, leading to a devastating outcome for those involved.

According to the Green Lake County Sheriff’s Office, 46-year-old Timothy Kamphuis later died from injuries sustained in the crash. His death comes after 40-year-old Nicole Deaver of Fairwater was pronounced dead at the scene on the day of the accident.

Authorities say two other occupants were also involved, though their conditions have not been publicly detailed. The incident has deeply impacted the local community, as friends and families process the sudden loss.

Emergency responders acted quickly upon arrival, but the severity of the crash made rescue efforts challenging. Officials have not yet released details about what caused the UTV to crash, and no information has been provided regarding speed, road conditions, or whether safety measures like seat belts were in use.

The investigation is currently ongoing, with multiple agencies working together to determine the exact circumstances. These include the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources and the Green Lake County Medical Examiner’s Office, alongside local law enforcement.

Authorities have urged anyone with information about the crash to come forward as they continue piecing together what led to the fatal incident.

As the investigation continues, the focus remains on understanding how the crash happened and preventing similar tragedies in the future.
